We are thrilled to announce the general availability of SignOn Solutions 7.0, a landmark release that revolutionizes how organizations manage identity and secure access across their enterprise. This major update introduces a powerful web-based management platform, a comprehensive REST API, and significantly expanded multi-factor authentication and platform support, empowering administrators with unprecedented control and flexibility.

Key Enhancements in Version 7.0

This release is packed with features designed to streamline administration, enhance security, and provide seamless integration capabilities.

  • Web-Based Management Platform: A completely redesigned, intuitive web interface provides remote management of all components. Features a real-time status dashboard, advanced monitoring, and streamlined user and group management.
  • User Self-Service Portal: Empower your users with a modern, web-based platform for secure authentication and self-service OTP enrollment, reducing helpdesk workload and improving user experience.
  • Comprehensive REST API: Automate and integrate like never before. The new REST API offers programmatic access to management functions and user enrollment, enabling custom workflows and integration with third-party systems.
  • Seamless COTP Push Notifications: Our convenient and secure Comtarsia OTP (COTP) is now deeply integrated, featuring a simplified pairing process for a frictionless yet robust multi-factor authentication experience.
  • Expanded Linux & Windows Support: We've significantly broadened our support for modern server environments. Version 7.0 is fully compatible with Windows Server 2025 and adds support for AlmaLinux 9, RHEL 8, and Ubuntu 24.

Availability

SignOn Solutions 7.0 was rolled out in phases to accommodate our diverse customer base. The Linux components were made available on July 18, 2024. The full suite, including all Windows components and the new web management platform, was officially released on March 17, 2025.
